CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS: NATURAL RESOURCES AND IMPORT SUBSTITUTION

An active and consistent policy of comprehensive support for small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurial initiatives of economic entities contributed to attracting entrepreneurs to create new industries, modernize existing enterprises, and manufacture products that already compete with imported ones. Enterprises that widely use the richest reserves of natural resources are opened in the country.

One of such enterprises is a complex for the production of aerated concrete products and dry building mixtures of the individual enterprise «Ukyply kärdeşler» in the Bakharli etrap of the Ahal velayat. A high-tech line for the production of autoclaved aerated concrete with a capacity of 500 cubic meters per day and a workshop for the production of dry building mixtures of several types with a capacity of 100 tons of products per day, use local natural materials - quartz sand, limestone and gypsum, mined in the Balkan velayat.

A production complex with a capacity of about 200,000 tons of ceramic building materials per year was built by the «Döwletli Döwran» economic society in the Halach etrap of the Lebap velayat and put into operation. This is the first fully automated enterprise in the country focused on the production of a wide range of decorative ceramic products - clinker bricks, thermoblocks, paving stones for sidewalks. The enterprise can annually produce about 80 million pieces of finishing hollow bricks from local raw materials.

One of the largest producers of dry building mixtures and gypsum board, individual enterprise «Sabur Timur Taşew» (CTT) use natural resources of the richest region. The enterprise, located in the Koytendag etrap of the Lebap velayat, produces gypsum from local raw materials, dry building mixtures – putty for ground and final finishing of premises. Entrepreneurs produce up to 60,000 tons of high-quality mixtures annually.

The private enterprise «Erjel-Begenç» in the Geoktepe etrap of the Ahal velayat has developed a technology and mastered the production of facing materials from local raw materials, including paving slabs, decorative panels for side-by-side walls and street curbs.

The private enterprise «Dana dünýä», the production facilities of which are located in Turkmenabat, expands production of construction materials from recoverable resources. Entrepreneurs have mastered the production of several types of strong and durable products used in construction: two types of composite paving slabs, polymer-based building blocks - a sand base, facade tiles and roofing material.

Individual enterprise «Ak Hünji» in Mary produces more than 100 types of decorative ceiling profiles made of expanded polystyrene for interior decoration and over 400 types of decorative profiles and architectural elements for exterior decoration of buildings, heat and sound insulation blocks and boards of various densities, sandwich panels made of expanded polystyrene boards and mineral wool (basalt fiber).

The mini-plant for the production of facing slabs, built in Dashoguz, manufactures of a wide range of paving slabs and other concrete products, having introduced the SISTROM technology at the enterprise. The owner of an individual enterprise, Azad Sabirov has introduced technology and equipment, due to which ordinary cement and sand are converted into facing materials of a new generation.

Enterprises for the production of basalt fiber, pipes, bricks, reinforced concrete structures, waterproofing materials, washed sand, expanded polystyrene, expanded clay, emulsions and paints, electric cables and hoses, curb stones and tiles, dry building mixtures, bricks, etc. other building materials demonstrate their achievements in import substitution.
