An interdepartmental round table with the participation of the International Labor Organization was held in the building of the MFA of Turkmenistan
As part of the ongoing visit of the delegation of the International Labor Organization (ILO), headed by Assistant Director General, Regional Director of the ILO Beata Andres, on February 21, 2024, an interdepartmental round table was held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to discuss the prospects for cooperation with this international organization.
Leaders and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as relevant ministries, departments and public organizations of the country attended the event from the Turkmen side.
During the round table, an interactive, confidential dialogue took place, where participants shared opinions and proposals to address issues of ensuring decent work in various sectors of Turkmenistan. In particular, the draft “Cooperation Roadmap for 2024-2025” between the ILO and the Government of Turkmenistan, which includes a number of priority steps for rapid implementation, was discussed.
In conclusion, the parties expressed gratitude and satisfaction with the results of the round table in ensuring deserving work in Turkmenistan.
