Meeting at the MFA of Turkmenistan with the Head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat

On February 26, 2024, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan M. Byashimova and the Head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, Ambassador J.McGregor.

During the negotiations were discussed issues of organizing the visit of OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid to Turkmenistan in March of this year, as well as holding a high-level meeting of the Ministers of Environmental Protection of the Central Asian countries in Ashgabat within the framework of this visit.

It was also noted the productiveness of relations between Turkmenistan and the OSCE. Consistent work is being carried out based on joint cooperation programs annually developed by the Government of Turkmenistan and the OSCE Center in Ashgabat. In this regard, the parties discussed in detail the Plan of projects planned for the implementation by the Government of Turkmenistan together with the OSCE Center in 2024.
