Armenian students study Magtymguly

On 12 March 2024 within the framework of implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Magtymguly Turkmen State University and Yerevan State University the senior lecturer, Head of the Department of the Turkmen Language at the Turkmen State University Gulrukh Gurbanova delivered a lecture on “Role of Magtymguly in Turkmen literature".

Gulruh Gurbanova told the students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Yereýan State Uniýersity about the biography of the great poet, about his works, patriotic poems. It was also very interesting for the listeners to learn about Magtymguly's artistic language and poetry form, his worldview and about Fragi's vision in general.

The lecture was accompanied by the presentation and the Armenian young orientalist listened to the guest’s lecturer with great interest.

It is noteworthy that there are long-standing good traditions of cooperation between the main universities - Magtymguly Turkmen State University and Yerevan State University. Professors and students of the two universities take part at the conferences, forums and round tables held regularly, lectures are delivered on a regular basis and There is an active exchange of experience with the aim of strengthening cooperation of two universities as a vivid evidence of holding joint scientific and cultural events.
