Meeting of the Ministries in Charge of Tourism of the OTS Member States and Observers held in Ankara

On July 8-9, 2025, the Meeting of the Ministries in Charge of Tourism of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Member States and Observers is being held in the city of Ankara, Republic of Turkiye.

A delegation representing the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan is participating in the meeting. As noted in the statements by the Turkmen side, thanks to the tireless efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedow, the friendly and fraternal relations of our country with the states of the world are steadily strengthening. In accordance with the principles of the country’s neutral policy, great attention is being paid to expanding international cooperation in the field of tourism.

Tourism is an important factor in the economic development of any country. In this context, Turkmenistan is implementing phased steps to develop this sector. The measures being taken are aimed not only at expanding domestic tourism routes and improving the quality of services but also at the socio-economic development of regions, as well as strengthening Turkmenistan’s reputation on the international stage as an attractive country for tourism.
