Today, a high-level meeting between Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan began in the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for the Balkan velayat to participate in the high-level meeting held on the coast of the Caspian Sea. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev also arrived in our country to participate in the high-level event. This international event marked the emergence of relations between the countries of the region to a qualitatively new level.

Currently, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan effectively cooperate in various fields, including the political and diplomatic sphere, which is the main condition for ensuring global peace and sustainable development in the region. The organisation of a high-level meeting between neighbouring countries on the coast of the Caspian Sea has a profound meaning. This also contributes to strengthening the status of the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone as a center for holding important international events.
