A business forum titled “Turkmen-American Business Cooperation: New Opportunities and Prospects for Partnership Development” was held as part of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s working visit to the United States of America. The event was attended by heads of government agencies and representatives of the business communities of both countries. During the dialogue, Turkmen entrepreneurs expressed interest in developing cooperation in several important sectors.

In the fuel and energy complex, the parties discussed issues related to the modernization of relevant infrastructure, the introduction of environmentally friendly, advanced technologies, and the strengthening of partnerships in the field of renewable energy, in line with the global climate change agenda.

Special emphasis was also placed on the importance of intensifying cooperation in such areas as high technology and digitalization, including cybersecurity, communications, and digital infrastructure.

At the same time, the Turkmen side expressed interest in collaborating with American companies in the field of equipment supply and “green” construction technologies.

One of the main topics of discussion was cooperation in the manufacturing industry. In particular, there was an expressed desire for partnership and exchange of experience in such areas as the production of high-quality food and textile products that meet international standards, as well as increasing their export potential and expanding the geography of consumer markets.

In turn, the representatives of the American side highly appreciated the high-quality and environmentally friendly food products, textiles, and leather goods produced in Turkmenistan. Special interest was shown in medical products manufactured by the enterprise “Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment.”
