Festive trade as a reflection of abundance and prosperity

Concluding the International Year of Peace and Trust, marked by celebrations in honor of the glorious 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of the Fatherland, the people of Turkmenistan are preparing for the upcoming New Year with joy and great hopes. Warm hospitality and a generous festive table on the occasion of holidays are among the traditions of the people.

Our compatriots, who feel the care and attention of the state thanks to the socially oriented policy initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and successfully continued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, are witnessing the era of the Revival of a new epoch of the powerful state through impressive achievements in all sectors and events of historic significance. With kind wishes for well-being, prosperity, and a festive mood, the people of Turkmenistan are preparing to welcome the New Year 2026. According to the Eastern calendar, the coming year is the Year of the Horse, and the steed is a symbol of the achievements of our Fatherland. This inspires confidence that the new year will be marked by rapid rates of development of Turkmenistan.

Residents of the western region of the country are also preparing to welcome the New Year. An abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits, beverages, sweets, souvenirs, New Year trees, and decorations is displayed at the counters of retail outlets, markets, and mobile fairs in the cities and etraps of Balkan velayat. Particularly gratifying is the fact that the most in-demand products and goods are of domestic production. In this regard, it is worth noting the achievements of private producers and trade workers, who are constantly in search of new ideas.

Residents of the velayat are happy to purchase livestock, poultry, and fish products, as well as dairy, bakery, and confectionery goods at affordable prices. Brightly packaged festive gifts meet the high demands of customers. Products made from cotton fiber and Christmas tree decorations are also in great demand.

The wide assortment of goods in markets and retail outlets across the country is a vivid symbol of abundance and prosperity in our powerful state, which, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is confidently moving toward new heights of progress.
