THE DEMAND ON SOCK PRODUCTION FROM TURKMENISTAN GROWS ABROAD

The Akar Tekstil business entity may become a big exporter in its production line. The production of the company, which is located in Ak Bugday district, Ahal Region, includes 15 variety of men, women and children socks from natural cotton and mixed fabrics with lycra and is on high demand in the country and abroad.

Last year, the company has exported around one million items under AKAR trademark. Another 450,000 pairs of sock have been exported for two months of this year. The main importers of the brand are Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russian Federation and some European countries.

The facility equipped with knitting machines from MATEC Silver and LONATI (Italy) produces around half a million items per months and plans to double the production this year.
