Issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Armenia were discussed

On 8 April 2025, a courtesy meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov and the newly appointed Head of the Department of the Eurasian Region of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Georgy Kocharyan was held.

During the meeting, the parties noted the fruitful nature of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats within the framework of authoritative international structures.

It was noted that the existing political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and transport-communication relations between the two countries are developing in an ascending manner and emphasized the importance of further systematic development of these areas.

During the conversation, the issue of holding political consultations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Armenia at the level of Deputy foreign ministers in Yerevan was also touched upon.
