A delegation of media representatives from Turkmenistan is on a working visit to Zagreb

On the 6th of July, 2025, a delegation of representatives of the media of Turkmenistan went on a working visit to Zagreb. The trip was organised by the OSCE Office in Ashgabat (Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe OSCE Centre in Ashgabat).

In the capital of Croatia, journalists representing various publications will hold working meetings for several days to exchange experience of working in modern conditions.

On the 7th of July, the heads and employees of the mass media of Turkmenistan visited the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia. At the official level, our journalists will have meetings and conversations in the country's parliament, the Ministry of Culture, as well as on Croatian television.

The most interesting for our journalists in terms of exchanging practical experience are the upcoming conversations and communication with colleagues from the Croatian News Agency (HINA), the Electronic Media Agency, the Jutarnji list/Hanzamedia publication, the «Novosti» publication, etc.

    There are many online sources in Croatia that cover economic, cultural, sports and social issues in their reviews. In addition, there are many printed publications, both national and local newspapers, covering social issues, business and public health. The country's television remains one of the main sources of information for the population of Croatia.

Experienced journalists from Turkmenistan will also have something to share with their Croatian colleagues, and there is no doubt that the exchange of opinions and the established business contacts will benefit both the media representatives of both countries and the peoples of Croatia and Turkmenistan.
