Priorities for the development of agro-industrial complex of the country have been identified
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting dedicated to the development of the agro-industrial sector and the progress of ongoing agricultural work in the regions of the country.
During the meeting, the head of state emphasised the key role of the agricultural sector in strengthening the national economy. It was noted that the effective work of farmers is the foundation for ensuring food abundance in the country.
In this context, the President of Turkmenistan addressed a number of instructions to Deputy Prime Minister T. Atahallyyev concerning the modernisation of agriculture in accordance with modern requirements, improving the efficiency of industry management, and implementing long-term regional development programs.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov placed particular emphasis on the quality of seasonal fieldwork. The head of state instructed that strict adherence to agricultural standards be ensured at all stages of preparation for the spring campaign.
The President identified high-quality ploughing and levelling of cotton fields, timely provision of high-quality seed to producers, and preparation of agricultural machinery for the critical spring work as key tasks for the regions.
