International Seminar on Sustainable Transport Development Held in Yerevan

On September 14–15, 2026, a two-day capacity-building seminar titled "Advancing Sustainable Transport Corridors to Strengthen Inter- and Intra-regional Connectivity" was held in Yerevan. The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

During the seminar, key areas for the development of sustainable transport corridors were discussed. Participants exchanged experience, discussed common problems in the development of transport corridors, and considered practical approaches to improving their efficiency, sustainability, and environmental friendliness.

The seminar was attended by representatives of the governments of member countries, as well as transport operators, the private sector, academia, international organizations, development partners, and other interested parties.
