Presentation of the book “Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship” took place in Ashgabat

Presentation of the book “Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship” was held today at the National Music and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly.

The book, published in Turkmen, English and Russian by the Press Center of the Turkmen State Publishing Service, is dedicated to the theme of caring for the well-being of the younger generation.

Opening the solemn event, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan M. Mammedova told the audience about the role and significance of the fund, the meaning and content of which is fully disclosed in the new book.

Unforgettable and bright in content at the meeting were the performances of the Hero of Turkmenistan, laureate of the international award named after Makhtumkuli, People's Writer of Turkmenistan, poetess G. Shaguliyeva and artistic director of the folklore and ethnographic dance group of the Dokmachilar Center of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, People's Artist of Turkmenistan D. Saparova.

The content of individual chapters of the book and comments on them were also made by the editor-in-chief of the Nesil newspaper A. Khodjaberdiyev, the editor-in-chief of the Gunesh magazine G. Babayeva, the editor-in-chief of the Arkadag newspaper G. Miamiyev and the director of the Information Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry O.Geldieva.

The solemn event was accompanied by concert performances by prominent figures of culture and art of Turkmenistan.

At the end, the participants of the meeting accepted an Appeal addressed to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
