Cooperation in the sphere of TV broadcasting with Armenia

On June 23, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov met with the Executive Director of the Public Television of Armenia Oganes Movsesyan.

Ambassador M. Ayazov thanked O. Movsesyan for the personal meeting and noted that the guests from Turkmenistan were hosted by the talk show “Good morning!” of the Public Television twice, and that it was a good opportunity to present the Turkmen culture in all its diversity and the ancient history of the Turkmen people to an Armenian audience.

Turkmen folk singers presented live the melodic and gentle sound of dutar and gidzhak folk instruments.

Then the Ambassador spoke about the newly erected grandiose urban development project - the city of Arkadag, the grand opening of which will take place on June 29 this year, and invited the Public Television to visit Turkmenistan to make footage on the new city of Arkadag, the capital Ashgabat, about Turkmenistan, which will be an excellent opportunity to familiarize and raise awareness of an Armenian audience through television.

The Ambassador also got acquainted with the activities of the Public Television and visited the museum.
