Ambassador M. Ayazov met with the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia

On 28 July 2023, a meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia M. Ayazov and the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia Karen Ivanov was held.

At the beginning of the meeting, K. Ivanov informed the Ambassador about the results of the recent business visit of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia to Turkmenistan. During this visit, he said that the export opportunities of Turkmenistan in some areas have been studied with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

Currently, contracts have been concluded between Turkmenistan and Armenia for the purchase of spare parts for cars and products of textiles industry.

During the conversation, the interlocutors touched upon the issues of transport and logistics infrastructure and the establishment of new logistics links in order to develop trade between the two countries.

K. Ivanov said that a group of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia is planning a visit to Turkmenistan this autumn to discuss issues of export and import of goods with the Turkmen side. Ambassador M. Ayazov, in turn, assured that the Turkmen side would provide support for the upcoming visit.
