Based on international standards on the protection of human rights and freedoms, 142 individuals from other countries have been granted residence permits in Turkmenistan

At the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, based on universally recognized international standards on the protection of human rights and freedoms and the Law of Turkmenistan "On Migration," signed a Resolution granting residence permits in Turkmenistan to 142 foreign citizens.
During the meeting, R. Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs, reported that implementing the humane policy of the President of Turkmenistan on a systematic basis, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other authorized bodies conducted appropriate work to grant residence permits in Turkmenistan to these 142 individuals. They are citizens of 7 countries, representing 15 nationalities.
The President instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Migration Service, together with other relevant ministries and sectoral agencies, to continue working on processing documents for foreign citizens and stateless persons wishing to obtain residence permits in Turkmenistan.
Overall, guided by the noble humanistic principles of the ancestors, to date, residence permits in Turkmenistan have been granted to 5,152 foreign citizens and stateless persons.
