An interview was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov and correspondent of the Armenian news agency "ArmInfo"

In an interview the Ambassador spoke about the regular session of the Halk Maslahaty (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan which took place in the capital city of Ashgabat on 19 September 2025, in the year of the 34th anniversary of Independence and the 30th anniversary of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during that important issues aimed at the socio-economic development of our country were discussed.

Ambassador M. Ayazov also informed about the work being carried out to implement Turkmenistan's peace-loving foreign policy in the International Year of Peace and Trust. In particular, it was noted that the significance of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries which was held at a high level this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, resulted in the adoption of the Avaza Political Declaration and the presentation of the Avaza Action Programme for 2024–2034.

In addition, the important role of the representative forum of the International Year of Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 of this year dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality, in promoting the peace-loving doctrine of our state was emphasized.
