Turkmenistan is strengthening its transport and logistics infrastructure and industrial base in the Caspian Sea

At a digital meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on the 8th of October, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annamammedov reported to the President on preparations for Construction and Industrial Complex Workers' Day, celebrated annually on the 3rd of November.
In particular, a large-scale plan was announced for the commissioning and groundbreaking of key infrastructure facilities in the Balkan velayat, timed to coincide with this professional holiday. These projects underscore Turkmenistan's commitment to strengthening its transport and logistics infrastructure and industrial base on the Caspian sea.
In early November, a new automobile bridge across Garabogaz kol bay will open. Groundbreaking is also planned for a section of the new Turkmenbashy-Garabogaz highway to the border with Kazakhstan. A urea production complex with a capacity of 1 million 155 thousand tons per year will be built in Turkmenbashy etrap, and a new water treatment facility capable of processing 20 thousand cubic metres of drinking water per day will be opened in Esenguly Etrap.
In addition, the international forum «Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Industries of Turkmenistan» is scheduled for the 3rd-4th of November in the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone.
