«Blue fuel» to the delight of the population

In Turkmenistan, systematic and large-scale efforts are underway to utilise natural resources to further strengthen the economic strength of country and improve the standard of living of our people. As an example, all populated areas in the country are supplied with natural gas, and planned efforts are underway to gasify newly established villages and towns.

In this regard, the employees and specialists of the «Lebapgazüpjünçilik» Department of the «Turkmengas» State concern demonstrate high performance. The Department has achieved success in fulfilling its annual plan ahead of schedule: even before the end of the first 10 months of this year, the 2025 plan for laying 42 360 metres of gas pipelines was exceeded, reaching 42 387 meters. Since the beginning of this year, in accordance with the «National program of the President of Turkmenistan for improving the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities, and etrap centres through 2028», employees of the Department have laid more than 25 kilometres of supply gas pipelines to populated areas, while the length of gas pipelines laid within populated areas has exceeded 17 kilometres. A total of 30.8 kilometres of gas pipelines have been laid in rural areas, and 11.5 kilometres in towns and cities.

It is worth noting that gas pipelines have been laid throughout the velayat. 406 gas distribution stations and 3477 gas regulators operate to deliver gas to consumers in the velayat. Employees and specialists from the «Lebapgazüpjünçilik» department monitor the operation of gas distribution stations and gas regulators throughout the year, carrying out repairs as necessary. This ensures an uninterrupted supply of natural gas to our citizens.

In anticipation of the upcoming winter season, administration staff have been instructed to visit all households consuming natural gas to ensure compliance with the rules for its use, as well as conduct public awareness campaigns. This ensures the reliable and safe use of «blue fuel» by the population.
