The Turkmen delegation is participating in the international conference "Cultural Crossroads" in Yerevan
The International Conference "Cultural Crossroads" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions was launched in Yerevan on November 27.
Delegations from more than a dozen countries, as well as representatives of UNESCO and other international organizations, arrived in Yerevan to participate in the conference. The Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Nursakhet Shirimov heads the Turkmen delegation.
The official opening of the conference took place on November 27 at the Mashtots Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran). Following the opening ceremony, a plenary session entitled "The 2005 UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions: Achievements and Prospects for 20 Years" began. Within the framework of the Conference plenary discussions on creative industries, the diversity of cultural expressions in the digital age, and other topics will also be held.
The conference will continue until November 28, 2025.

During the working visit to the Republic of Armenia to participate in the international conference "Cultural Crossroads" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, the Turkmen delegation, headed by the Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Nursakhet Shirimov, visited the museum of the Mashtots Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts - Matenadaran.
