BETWEEN THE PRESIDENTS OF TURKMENISTAN AND KYRGYZSTAN WAS TELEPHONE CONVERSATION

On 27 December, 2018, a telephone conversation was held between the President of Turkmenistan Gurnbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

In the beginning of the conversation the Heads of two states heartily congratulated each other on coming New Year and wished all the best and prosperity to Turkmen and Kyrgyz people.

Then the Heads of the states went on to discussion of the issues related to the development of Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations. They noted the issues on the development of the bilateral cooperation in commercial, economical, scientific-technical and also humanitarian spheres.

Moreover, during the phone negotiations, there was an exchange of opinions on topical issues of regional and international issues which represent the mutual interest. The priorities for constructive interaction within large international organizations, first of all, such as UN and CIS were also noted.
