CARGO SERVICES: NEW AIR ROUTES

Turkmenistan Airline Open Joint-Stock Company is launching direct regular cargo services deploying a Boeing 777-200 LR freighter aircraft. The first flight is scheduled for February 26, 2021. The airline company will operate flights between the People’s Republic of China and the Federative Republic of Germany once a week, to Beijing on Friday and to Frankfurt am Main on Saturday.

Test air cargo flights will be operated until late March. The airline has started taking orders for air freight services to Europe and Asia. Cargo will be transported using modern Boeing aircrafts capable of carrying 30-35 tons of cargo.

The effectiveness of the air cargo services will allow the parties concerned to increase the frequency of Boeing cargo flights and expand the air delivery network of existing and new routes.

In recent months, Turkmenistan Airline has been operating regular cargo flights to Istanbul and Abu Dhabi using an IL-76 freighter aircraft.
