Construction materials for the new buildings in the Fatherland
The International Year of Peace and Trust, which will go down in history with memorable dates, rapid national development, and outstanding achievements, will in just a few days pass the baton to the new year, 2026.
An especially important event of this glorious year was the large-scale international celebration of the 30th anniversary of the recognition by the UN General Assembly of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan. The domestic and foreign policy of our country, based on the principles of neutrality, serves as a model for other states and plays a key role in ensuring peace not only in the region but throughout the world.
Neutrality is peace, which in turn is a guarantee of the happy life of the people, economic strengthening, and a secure future. The large-scale construction of facilities of various purposes underway in our state is a symbol of its economic power.
The implementation of such ambitious projects requires high-quality construction materials. To meet the demand for them, enterprises and plants are being commissioned throughout the country. The fact that dozens of state-owned and private specialized enterprises operate in Lebap velayat alone testifies to the special attention the state pays to urban development issues. It is important to note that the region effectively utilizes its rich reserves of natural resources.
One of such advanced enterprises is the Koytendag Quarry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan. As is well known, a multifunctional industrial center aimed at developing the raw material base is currently being formed in the eastern region of the country. The Koytendag Quarry Department plays a special role in this process, ensuring uninterrupted supplies of non-metallic construction materials: crushed stone, washed sand, and gravel–sand mixtures.
Continuous renewal of the machinery fleet contributes to the growth of production indicators. Thus, in the current year, the department received three new forklift trucks from the People’s Republic of China, which significantly increased labor productivity. At present, the division has at its disposal four excavators, two bulldozers, fourteen heavy-duty KamAZ dump trucks, twelve MAZ dump trucks, and eight loaders.
Raw materials are supplied from the enterprise’s own quarry with an area of 310 hectares. Its proximity to the production facilities makes it possible to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency. Thanks to the dedicated work of specialists and the full automation of technological processes—from raw material extraction to the output of finished products—strict compliance of materials with quality standards is ensured.
Based on the results of eleven months of 2025, the department produced 714,350 cubic meters of non-metallic construction materials, fulfilling the plan for marketable products by 102.6%. In particular, the following volumes were produced: 214,470 cubic meters of crushed stone, 317,450 cubic meters of washed sand, 46,970 cubic meters of fine crushed stone, and 135,480 cubic meters of gravel–sand mixture.
The production growth rate for the reporting period amounted to 124.8%, confirming the high development dynamics of the enterprise. Prompt shipment of products to construction sites throughout the country testifies to well-coordinated logistics and the professionalism of the workforce.
