On the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Armenia and as the continuation of cooperation between the Higher Music Schools of Turkmenistan and Armenia, a video meeting was held between the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M.Kuliyeva and the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas. The attention of the musical community at this time was focused on the musical instrument - violin.

The master class for students of the Turkmen Conservatory was conducted by Ruben Smbatyan, Associate Professor of the Department of String Instruments of the Yerevan State Conservatory, and Gagik Smbatyan, Professor of the same department. They listened to six works for violin performed by young musicians, including a piece by Aram Khachaturian.

Armenian teachers noted that a very interesting concert program was selected and gave valuable advice to young Turkmen performers, having shared their experience in improving their skills.

It was stated that such master classes are very fruitful on increasing the effectiveness of the educational process, and it was announced that, in continuation of the already established cooperation between the Conservatories of the two friendly countries, on February 22 a video lesson on national instruments will be held, where dutar and gyjak will be presented as the national instruments from the Turkmen side and canon from the Armenian side.
