MEETING BETWEEN THE CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF TURKMENISTAN AND THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

On 16th of February the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Armenia organized a video meeting between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Armenia.

The Head and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan took part in the online dialogue from the Turkmen side.

On behalf of the Armenian side the meeting was attended by the Head and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Armenia, representatives of the Ministry of Economy, members of the Presidium of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and representatives of private business sector.

During the event it was noted that the activation of partnership between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia will be an important step in establishing business relations between the entrepreneurs of the tow brotherly countries.

The sides discussed issues of cooperation, identified priorities for cooperation in the textile industry, construction industry and agriculture.

At the end of the meeting, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Armenia agreed on developing joint cooperation in order to establish relations between the business circles of the two countries.
