10 BRIGHT NAMES: A THEMATIC STAND AT THE SCHOOL NAMED AFTER BYASHIM NURALI

On occasion of the International Women's Day, the Children's Art School named after Byashima Nurali prepared an information stand dedicated to outstanding women - our compatriots, who have left a mark in the history of the country. The organizer of the educational action is Lyudmila Ulakina, a teacher of the arts school.

“The younger generation should know the names and biography of women, whose greatness is determined by selfless service to the Motherland, personal strength and loyalty to their vocation. That was the main idea for creation of this stand. Information about their life and creative development is not only educational, but is also important in the context of patriotic education”, Lyudmila Pavlovna says.

Hero of Turkmenistan, People's Artist of the USSR Maya Kulieva (1920-2018) a primo of the Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Magtymguly, in 1992 - 2001 - Director of Magtymguly Turkmen Music and Drama Theater.

People's Artist of the USSR Medeniyet Shahberdyeva (1930-2018) - a singer of rare fate, once literally burst into the world of music, admiring with the beauty of the timbre of her voice. 

Hero of Turkmenistan, People's Writer of Turkmenistan Amangozel Shagulyeva is a well-known cultural figure, author of patriotic works, whose poetry has become the quintessence of the epoch of transformations.

People's Artist of the USSR Annagul Annakulieva (1924-2009) a solo singer of the Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Magtymguly Her husband is People's Artist of the USSR Alty Karliev, actor, theater and film director.

People's Artist of Turkmenistan Yevgenia Adamova (1913-1991) was born in Ukraine, in 1932 she moved to Turkmenistan with her parents. 

Evgenia Mikhailovna is the author of several works that were included in the Golden Fund of the National School of Painting.

People's Writer of Turkmenistan Tovshan Esenova (1915-1988) - she possessed not only a poetic gift, but also very keenly felt the social problems of the time. The poems "Steel Girl", "Daughter of a Millionaire", "Letter to the Women of the East" have become significant ones in her work.

Olga Mizgireva - a Turkmen artist and botanist. She graduated from the Turkmen Agricultural Institute and became a famous breeder, permanent director of the experimental station in Karakala.

Julia Daneshvar (nee Konovalova) was born in 1912 in Moscow, in 1938 she moved to Ashgabat. Together with her husband Muzafar Daneshvar she taught at the Turkmen School of Arts. One of her students was the future People's Artist of the USSR - Izzat Klychev. Yulia Daneshvar died during the 1948 Ashgabat earthquake.

Ogulgeldi Mamedova (1958-2020) - a famous graphic artist and painter, creator of images of beautiful and elegant women of the East.

Sadap Niyazova - a collective farmer. During the Great Patriotic War, she donated 60,000 rubles to the Defense Fund. A photo of the selfless woman was circulated in many Soviet newspapers, and her patriotic act became an inspiring example for home front workers.
