THE MEETING BETWEEN THE AMBASSADOR AND REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CONSERVATORY - THE BASIS FOR CONTINUING COOPERATION

On March 29, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan of the Republic of Armenia M. Ayazov met the representatives of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, with whom they have a productive cooperation.

The meeting was attended by art expert Narine Avetisyan, Honored Artist of Armenia Anna Mayilyan, professors of the Department of String Instruments of the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas Ruben and Gagik Smbatyan. Art expert Narine Avetisyan donated the musical scores of the canon, piano and violin to the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M.Kuliyeva and asked to hand over them to her Turkmen colleagues.

We remind that since May 2020, four online meetings have been held - master classes in vocal, piano, violin and an online lecture-concert on the Armenian folk instrument Canon and musical instruments of the Turkmen people.

During the meeting, a very productive exchange of views took place on the base of joint online meetings which already held. Also new areas of cooperation between conservatories and art workers of the two states were isolated.

At the end of the meeting, the guests were offered dishes of the Turkmen dastarkhan.
