THE PRODUCTION OF NEW GENERATION FABRICS IS EXPANDING

The economic society "Garagum" is mastering the production of a new generation of non-woven material - spunbond. In the Bagtyyarlyk etrap of Ashgabat, entrepreneurs built a plant with a capacity of about 2,500 tons of this material per year. Now the company is carrying out start-up and adjustment works. The equipment of the nonwoven fabric manufacturing plant purchased by entrepreneurs in China includes a spunbond nonwoven fabrication plant, commercial roll unwinders and other auxiliary equipment. Fiber-forming polymers, such as polypropylene produced in the country, will be used as raw materials for the production of non-woven fabric.
These fibers in non-woven materials are interconnected in a special way, without the use of a weaving method. This method makes it possible to obtain a canvas of a new structure, which perfectly replaces textiles and at the same time has higher properties in terms of such indicators as web density, strength, bending resistance, abrasion resistance, air permeability, and so on. The plant in Bagtyyarlyk etrap is already the second enterprise in the country that masters the production of non-woven material - spunbond.
Products made of polymeric materials produced by the ES "Turkmen Senet" are in special demand. It is represented by non-woven materials of various density, strength and purpose: from the thinnest - 0.10 grams per square meter - up to 120 grams. Spunbond non-woven material is used to make medical clothing and kits, surgical covers, bed linen. They are used in the production of agrotextiles, they are the basis for building membranes and waterproofing materials, they are used in light industry as accessories and packaging material, for the manufacture of covers, bags, etc. They are used to make feminine and children's hygiene products, disposable clothes for medical institutions and beauty salons.
- The use of non-woven materials is determined, first of all, by its high functional properties, - explains Baba Oraniyazov, General Director of the Türkmen Senet ES. - Due to the versatility of physical and mechanical properties. New generation non-woven materials will not only perfectly replace expensive textiles in everyday life, but will also be able to successfully compete with foreign products in this significant sector of the national economy.
