The Embassy had held a tournament on Mini football among diplomats

On April 9-10, 2016 the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia organized a tournament on Mini football among diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the diplomatic corps of Armenia dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan and the announcement of 2016 year - The Year of Respect for Heritage, Reformation of Motherland. The tournament was held at the Sports club "Dynamo" in Yerevan.

In addition to the football team of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, the football teams of diplomatic missions of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the USA, Germany, Kuwait, Egypt, the UAE, Canada, Argentina, as well as of the missions of OSCE, EU and ADB (Armenian development Bank) took part in the tournament, which was held in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Totally, 12 united and individual football teams participated in the tournament. The first place was taken by the UAE team, who became the  winner of the tournament,  2nd place was taken by the Armenian Foreign Ministry team, the 3rd place – took the team of the Delegation of EU and 4th place was of German team. 

During the closing ceremony of the tournament, all the winners of the tournament were awarded special trophies and medals on behalf of the Embassy, and all participants of the tournament got Certificates of participation. At the end of the closing ceremony, all participants and guests have been treated with Turkmen festive dastarkhan.
